Hello Everyone
TinyLegions
As the administrator and site owner here, I would like to welcome all to my little part of the internet.

KenofYork
Hi. My name is Ken and I am from the US. I like to tinker a bit and have a host of armies piled in the basement.

Brian Smaller
Brian Smaller from New Zealand. Have Bretonnian and O&G armies. Also have most of a Nippon army and a small Dogs of War force slumbering in boxes out in the Woolshed.

KtentheRCR
Steve from Canada, Empire and Orc & Goblin army. Stocking up on 5th Edition magic box's at the momentShock

Just Tony
Tony Lucas, 40 year old male from West Lafayette, Indiana. What I have left is a Beasts of Chaos army built around the Minotaur list in the BOC book, a sizeable High Elves army, a Lizardmen army and a Dogs of War army. The last two are my brother's armies, but I have access to them.

So, that can send a kid to college these days.

Hjalmar Johnson of Edmonds, Wa.
Skaven, Lizardmen, and Empire in order of volume. Honestly my gameplay strays more toward the specialist games side of things but hey, those are old rules too, right?

We're here for everyone, honestly. Except the AoS people, they have enough forums elsewhere lol
Father, soldier, musician, Transformers fan, masochistic junior moderator type thing.

Jörgen, 32 years old male from Sweden, working as a teacher & been playing warhammer since 1994.

I wanted to expand the forums, and never thought about specialists games. I would be willing to put together a forum for this.

I'd be down with that, and that gives me a question for another thread.

I'm Evan and i've been sober for 4 years.

Wait, wrong forum.

Well, im still Evan. I live in southern ontario.

I started with 5th edition fantasy with the boxset in 1999, and have beeb playing ever since. Skipped 7th edition as I just didnt play enough.

I liked 5th and 6th above all, and I think the variety of magic and fun of 5th was missing. That said I loved the balance and feel 6th brought to tge core units.

Hello. Stayed with 2nd edition and earlier. A lot of BattleFleet Gothic, luckily I bought a lot of that when it came out. Lost most figures in a move. Also 2nd edition fantasy, Man O' War. Glad I hung on to that.
I've used Traveller with 40K for roleplaying, players liked it. Quicker and not overwrought. Changed the history.
So I don't play canon, prefer my vision of what their universe should be.
Looking forward to this.

Glad to see everyone on here. Don't hesitate to start the conversation on things.

Hello everyone,

I joined when I was a little kid way back in 5th edition but only read the army books never collected. I got in proper at the start of 6th! I play Lizardmen, Chaos Dwarfs, Dwarfs, and Empire. I even have a growing Fimir army I use from time to time using the warpstone rules.

Thank You,
Matthew Masiello

Hi, thought I would see where this forum goes. It sounds more like my era of WFB. I started in 4th and after a break in the middle set about turning my mainly 4th-5th armies into 8th armies.

Pretty much just play 8th these days due to a fire destroying all my old books and cards and most of my necromunda scenery.

I have O&G, Dwarf, High Elf, Empire, WoC, DoC & Vampire Count armies and will stick a paint log up here at some point Smile

Robin
Robin, out of the UK, currently sitting in the Middle East - started playing WHFB with son about 12 years ago, he's grown out of it but I didn't.

Still painting O&G, have Brettonian and Empire armies in boxes as next projects, also got a collection of DoW. Then there are the kid's armies - HE, Dwarves, VC, Ogres, Chaos - so quite a range to play against. I like the idea of continuing with 6e - that's the edition I had most fun with. I look forward to watching this site grow.

Galadrin
Hello all, another Evan here. I am a graduate student and started this hobby in 1997 after taking a trip to Ireland and bringing back a "free take one" flier from a GW store. I played mostly 5th Edition Fantasy and a tiny bit of 40k 2nd Edition before moving on to other things. Happily returning to the games I started with almost two decades later. I never played any of the later editions (except for the first few months of WFB6e), so please excuse me if I ask questions when those versions are being discussed!

After some serious eBay collecting recently, I currently own 1,000 to 1,500 point armies for all the 40k 2e factions that got official codexes (but everything is still in the box waiting to be assembled). I also have 2,000 points of Wood Elves for WFB 5th Edition (the only army I actually owned and played back in the day... Very little has been added to it since around 1999!). Lastly, I have a smattering of regiments for the other Fantasy factions, but all of those are recent acquisitions and still in blister or box, waiting to be assembled. I also have a couple Mighty Fortresses (the styrofoam one) and a handful of GW side games (Mighty Empires, BFG, Mordheim and so on).

I am excited to do some retro-gaming in the near future, when I get everything painted up (using Coat d'Arms paints, natch!).

Welcome all who have recently registered. Please feel free to start the conversation on something that you think is pertinent to GW of yesteryear, or any damn thing in the free speech forum.

Nils from Sweden here, I'm the biggest 6th edition fan I know. I'm really glad I found this site, hopefully it will grow a lot.

I've dabbled in nearly every army from the 6th edition era, but my favorites were VC and Dwarves. Couldn't really handle the power creep in 7th edition, got so annoyed in fact that I kept playing 6th casually with friends for years.
