Appendix Armies
TinyLegions
So I wanted to start a discussion pertaining to Appendix armies. I really don't have any experience on them but I wanted to hear thoughts from someone who has experience with them. My first impression is that they can be alternatives to change things up, which is a good thing. Your thoughts are appreciated.

I've played a few of the Dwarven ones and the southlands lizard men list. Id say they can unbalance the game a bit more but they are a lot of fun and filled with character so i try to go with them when i can.
"Prepare to embrace your creators in the stygian haunts of hell, barbarian", gasped the first soldier.

"Only after you have kissed the fleeting stead of death, wretch!" returned Grignr.

My VC army was built around the Sylvanian Levy list, my brother's LM is more often than not a Southlands list, and the WD army lists were some of my favorites. I'm on board for all of them, even the Storm of Chaos ones.

That is another point in that some of the appendix armies were released as alternative army lists throughout the tenure of the 6th edition. I tend to think that those particular lists were vetted a little more than the appendix lists, but I do tend to think that the SOC army lists are a mixed bag. Your mileage may very of course.

Some I think went more by feel than playtest. I'll leave it for others to decide which ones.

Also, you have a spam thread to delete, didn't know if you saw that or not.

A dime a dozen. I always peruse the new threads to see if I have a new one.
