Final Tally, Location of the final battle and next steps The summer campaign has burned white hot, and now, at last, the smoke parts just long enough for us to draw breath before the Final Battle. For 13 weeks, from the Prologue to the eve of the last great clash, the war has raged across club tabl...

WEEK 13 - Campaign Finale: The Jade Staff is Lost to Naggaroth That is it. The last dice have rolled, the last standards have been counted, and the campaign ledger can finally be closed. Week 13 brought 181 more battles crashing into the record, enough blood, ash and bad handwriting to keep any map...

WEEK 12 – Reports from the Battlefront 86 clashes reached the campaign desk this week, including two late satellite dispatches that have now been folded into their proper factions rather than left as stray splinter reports. The Dark Elves still hold the global crown, but the most dangerous sound th...

I have to say it: I LOVE that minotaur. I have a metal recast for WHQ and I adore it

An epic battle with gorgeous models!

A very epic battle, and a new grudge has been written in the Book.

Thank you for sharing

WEEK 11 – Reports from the Battlefront Eighty-five clashes reached the campaign desk this week, and Week 11 proved that the war is no longer merely expanding: it is hardening. The Dark Elves kept the crown, but the northern hosts surged again beneath them, forcing every rival to measure the distanc...

WEEK 10: Reports from the Battlefront Ninety-three clashes reached the campaign desk this week, and the shape of the war changed sharply around them. Dark Elves still hold the crown, but the roar beneath the throne is no longer verminous: the Hordes of Chaos have smashed upward from the middle rank...

WEEK 9: Status of the campaign Seventy-five clashes reached the campaign desk this week. After the great bloodletting of Week 8, the war did not explode outward so much as tighten: fewer battles, sharper consequences, and several factions discovering that a single bad local run can echo across the ...

WEEK 8 - Reports from the Battlefront 114 clashes reached the campaign desk this week, the largest accounting of the war so far. From knife-work in 500-point patrols to 3,000-point grand hosts, Week 8 did not merely adjust the standings: it tore them open and stitched them back together in a bloodi...

WEEK 7 – Reports from the Battlefront 63 clashes reached the campaign desk this week, and the war took on a stranger shape: less a clean reshuffle than a grinding of old scores, fresh wounds and unexpected revivals. The global crown remains in Skaven claws, but Week 7 belonged on the tabletop to th...

WEEK 6 – Reports from the Battlefront 78 clashes reached the campaign desk this week, and with them came a sharp reshuffling of the war. Week 6 belonged, in spirit, to the High Elves , whose clean run gave them the best weekly return. In the wider campaign, however, the loudest headline is verminou...

WEEK 5 The fifth week of the campaign has delivered its most sweeping reshuffle. Seventy-five recorded engagements (from 250-point border patrols to 3,000-point grand hosts) have been entered into the campaign archives. The Dark Elves remain at the summit, their overall ledger the envy of every riv...

Fifty-seven recorded engagements (from desperate 250-point border patrol skirmishes to thunderous 4000-point pitched battles ) have been recorded in the archi...

This is very cool! Thank you very much for doing this and posting all of these updates! I've already downloaded the PDF and I'm loving how you guys have put thought and effort into bringing partial rules for the Amazons into a full 6th Edition readiness. Bringing additional Armies/Army Books into 6...

Busy weekend!

The reports keep coming from the front of battle. I expect to have news soon.

The gathering was more successful than we anticipated and we are busy, suffering from success.

But oh boy, it's being very epic!

Hi everybody! If some of you were active on GWhobby.net and think that username looks familair, yes, the same guy. Anyway, I am Tim, born in November 1985, and looking to play WHFB 6th edition. I took a quick glance and the colors of 4th-5th are a feast for the eyes!

Rules-wise I still prefering 6th edition, but I love the color schemes of the 4th-5th by far. 6th-8th got too darky.

Thanks for sharing!

I love the old DE chariot with the fat cold ones!

Thanks for sharing, beautiful photos

One of the most overlooked house rules is written in almost all the armybooks: if both players agree, Mercenaries may be taken as Special units instead of Rare. The general rule is "normal mercenaries are Rare, RoR follow their own ForHire rule". This causes having basic Pikemen as Rare, b...

The sculpts are quite nice, actually!

I was thinking "well, these dimensions are odd, they are too tall, skinny and separated" but I guess the bases are ready for TOW.
