The title says it all. What are the army points limits for game day ?

We tend to write up 2,000 point armies but occasionally run bigger ones to spice things up. We also run 6th, and I'm not sure if there is anyone currently attending that plays 5th. If you don't have 6th Ed. books then we can point you in the right direction, starting with a thread on here in Warhammer General entitled "Hope I don't get banned..."

That's unfortunate. I lost interest in 6th edition. Can't remember why exactly. I think it was the rules/ lists changes and the remodelling of the orcs to make them more monstrous and primitive.Still, we'll see.

We can at least put feelers out and see if there are any 5th players roundabouts

The links you so kindly provided and Ebay have solved my dilemma. 6th edition it is!

You'll notice some composition changes as well as your characters not being able to dish units solo. If you like troop heavy games you should be okay. Orcs and Goblins also have plenty in their bag of tricks to work with.
