Not sure if it was too short of notice, or inefficiency at getting the word out, OR the slick as hell freezing weather, but my brother and I were the only ones that showed up.

I'm tempted to go, but the 7.5 hour drive keeps putting me off. I think it would be more a once a year thing for me with a plan to do something else as well.

I know for sure that Hector is going to be there next month, and that 1SG Mike is ramping up his hobbying in an attempt to get his Orcs and Vampire Counts ready for play. Add in my niece Keely and next month should be a better affair. Just have to advertise a bit earlier to get some out of towners...

You'll probably need to provide armies and potentially learning games to drum up support. Just playing at locations with fully painted armies and giving out contact info is the best way to grow a community.
